Job summary

Crate & Barrel in Florida is seeking Seasonal Operations Associates to help keep shelves stocked, displays complete, and stock rooms ready for customer orders. You’ll contribute to a fun, engaging shopping experience and support leadership in daily store operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent customer service, and a friendly, proactive approach. Weekend availability after Thanksgiving through Christmas is required, with a part-time schedule and an associate discount benefit.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the days surrounding Christmas.
• Part-time roles: availability for two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or night.

Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks and maintain an organized stockroom.
• Ensure product and displays on the sales floor are stocked and available for customers.
• Process incoming/outgoing packages and curbside orders, ship from store, and BOPIS.
• Support store goals and standards communicated by leadership.
• Drive sales through customer engagement and product knowledge.
• Lead by example and assist leadership with profitability and operations.
• Promote current promotions, brand initiatives and store services to customers.
• Maintain awareness of loss prevention, security and safety guidelines.
• Foster teamwork through safe, respectful and efficient collaboration.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Operations Associate...

• Perform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.
• Assist the leadership team with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, and buy online, pick up in store, in a timely manner.
• Support and maintain store sales and service goals and standards as communicated by the leadership team.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertise, as needed.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Have awareness of current promotions, brand initiatives/events, store services, collaborations, and promote them to customers.
• Maintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by leadership and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy Manual.
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates.
