Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, invites a seasoned Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a seasonal night shift. You will provide safe, competent nursing care, communicate with physicians, administer IV fluids and medications, and monitor patient vital signs in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Florida RN licensure, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification; prior ED or acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assists in ED procedures and supports an efficient, patient-centered environment.

Education

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

Current RN licensure in Florida

Current BLS through American Heart Association

Current NIH Stroke Certification
