FS Grain, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Grain Night Dryer in Ashton, IL to manage grain handling and operate the grain drying system. The role requires independent and team work, safety compliance, and good customer service for a growing Northern Illinois operation.

Qualifications

• Normal high school diploma or related agricultural experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Understanding and willingness to learn grain handling.
• Understanding and experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Basic computer skills to enhance grain handling.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel overnight when needed.
• Ability to work extended hours and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, stored, and outgoing grain and ensure grain quality.
• Operate and monitor the grain drying system.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety around grain handling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/state/federal safety regulations and keep facilities in good condition.
• Provide professional customer service to customers.
