Job summary

A Move to Remember in Chicago is hiring for the Summer Peak Season. We seek movers with moving, transportation or warehouse experience; training is provided for applicants with no prior experience. Based in Pilsen, team members join on 1099 terms and are assigned by job.

Shifts run 8 AM–6 PM, with 4–6 days per week during peak season and flexible hours as needed. Pay starts at $18+/hr plus tips, with a training period at $16/hr plus tips for the first 75 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in moving/transportation preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to Cook County area/Pilsen.

Responsibilities

• Complete multiple jobs within a shift.
• Attend all in-person walkthroughs at the start of each location.
• Wrap furniture and fragile items with blankets, wrap, or padding.
• Safely carry and load/unload client items.
• Communicate with team or clients while in vehicle.
• Receive feedback from Leadership team and owner.
