Job summary

Crate & Barrel is seeking a Merchandising Associate to support store management in inventory integrity, merchandising handling, and process improvements. You will help move stock efficiently and maintain accurate labeling across core and seasonal products at our San Francisco location.

You’ll work with warehouse and sales teams to meet deadlines, using Lightspeed for receiving orders and stock checks, and you’ll contribute to training new hires while upholding service standards for customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years customer service, warehouse and/or merchandise handling experience.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new processes and systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the physical and systemic movement of core merchandise.
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with the Store Manager.
• Support team to meet project deadlines.
• Utilize Lightspeed to receive orders/transfers and reference stock levels.
• Maintain labeling and organization of core and seasonal merchandise.
• Participate in training of new hires and cross-functional collaboration.

A Day in the Life as a Merchandising Associate at Hudson Grace...

• Facilitate the physical and systemic movement of core merchandise
• Perform weekly inventory cycle counts and work with the Assistant Store Manager to reconcile discrepancies
• Support team to successfully meet project deadlines
• Utilize the Lightspeed inventory system to receive orders/transfers, reference stock levels, reconcile count adjustments
• Facilitate seasonal purge of discontinued products and receiving of new season's products
• Maintain accurate labeling and organization of core and seasonal merchandise
• Participate in the ongoing review and improvement of processes
• Participate in the training of new hires
• Clearly communicate anticipated challenges to ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional partners
• Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates
• Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward the job and the company to both internal and external customers in all forms of communication
