Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. HomeGoods store in Trexlertown, PA is seeking a store associate to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience, engage customers, and maintain a clean, organized environment. You may work across departments to support business needs and uphold labor and safety standards.

You will ring purchases, promote credit and loyalty programs, process merchandise, and participate in store recovery while contributing to a positive store culture and great customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers on the sales floor.
• Accurately ring purchases/returns and handle cash according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
• Maintain merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for the floor.
• Assist in store recovery and keep the store clean and organized.
• Support safety and loss prevention initiatives and follow policies.
