Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate in California to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with overtime as needed.

Hourly pay is $21.50. You will use hand trucks, conveyors and other handling equipment, perform packing, scanning and labeling, verify orders, and keep a clean, safe workspace. Candidates must be 18+, able to do basic math, and read safety and operating instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.

Seasonality

Pay

The hourly pay rate for this is $21.50. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting. This rate may be modified in the future. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California.

What you'll do on a typical day

What you need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

It'd be great if you also have:

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives

This job requires the ability to

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
