Job summary

Generac is seeking a Material Handler to support production by picking warehoused parts and delivering to assembly areas. You will collaborate with production lines to optimize usage of people, materials, and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

The role requires basic forklift operation, the ability to work across products, and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in material handling or related role.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to identify and resolve basic problems.
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
• Models positive and professional work ethic.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials within the facility.
• Learn company operations and participate in projects for growth.
• Develop knowledge of the function and company processes.
• Support cross-functional teams to meet production demand.
• Perform forklift daily inspections and safe operation of equipment.
