Job summary

Scholastic Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift in Missouri to transport materials, supplies and finished products to designated locations. You will replenish pick areas, load parcels, stack for weight distribution, and scan items as they are loaded.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, wearing steel-toe shoes, and adherence to PDA safety requirements. This position is full-time, temporary seasonal, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must wear steel-toe shoes when operating a powered industrial vehicle.
• Refer to Physical Demand Analysis (PDA) for complete physical requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Replenish pick areas by moving boxes from pallet locations to flow racks.
• Load parcels from conveyor into trailer and maintain a fast pace.
• Stack parcels to ensure proper weight distribution from side to side and front to back of trailer.
• Scan each parcel as it is loaded onto trailers.
• Inspect and stack off damaged parcels for repacking.
• Monitor trailer weight limits to ensure safety and compliance.
• Sort, lift and stack boxes and finished product onto pallets.
• Operate equipment including hand jacks, RF scanners, conveyors, and related machinery.
