Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Seasonal Material Handler to support warehouse operations. The role involves loading products, putting away and picking items for shipment, and ensuring accuracy with customer orders.

You will work the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, Sun) from 6:30pm to 3:00am, with a $21.25 per hour base pay plus a $1.50 shift differential. Additional incentives include another $1.50 per hour for heavy lifting when assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Forklift certificate within first 30 days of employment.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock, ensure correct quantities and labeling.
• Verify shipments match customer orders and correct discrepancies.
• Operate/monitor equipment and replace batteries or LP tanks as needed.
• Assist in physical inventories and maintain clean, organized facilities.

Core Responsibilities

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Insure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
• Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and the facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Inspect all operated equipment daily.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and the customer

• Ability to identify and locate products which requires reading, counting, accurately performing simple

Role Purpose

Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.

Required Education and Experience
