Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Emerald Isle, North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance - Level I for a seasonal role through November 1. Responsibilities include light appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping and janitorial tasks.

You will work as part of a team to meet community maintenance standards, attend daily meetings and coordinate with staff on maintenance projects. Lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to drive maintenance trucks may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable auto insurance.
• Strong driving record and dependability are required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment.
• Willing to be on call for emergencies after hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain amenity spaces to ensure quality and safety.
• Care for grounds and keep property clean and debris-free.
• Collaborate with management to keep property clean, safe and appealing.
• Attend morning staff meetings and communicate daily tasks.
• Coordinate with other staff and vendors on maintenance projects.
• Report issues to management and perform repairs as needed.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks on-site.
• Monitor inventory and supplies for maintenance operations.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
