A U.S. government agency is looking for a skilled maintenance worker with journeyman capabilities in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems. The role involves performing repairs and maintenance on buildings and utility systems within various national parks. Applicants will assist in preserving historic buildings and ensuring safety and operational integrity of facilities. Candidates should have the ability to work with computerized facility management software and possess broad technical skills.
This position is located in a National Park Service Unit. The primary purpose of the position is to perform building and/or utility maintenance and operation duties. Incumbent utilizes journeyman knowledge and skills in several trades and crafts. All of the duties described by this position may not exist in each location, but that should not pre use this position.
