Job summary

Aesop is seeking a Seasonal Retail Consultant to connect with customers through genuine conversations and tailored product recommendations on the sales floor in our New York store.

You will welcome, engage, demonstrate skincare and fragrance offerings, and build personalized regimens while delivering the brand's distinctive five-senses experience. Weekend availability and end-date contract through January 16, 2027 are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused retail or hospitality environment.
• Merchant mindset with focus on shopper experience and sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for selling premium skincare and fragrance products.
• Able to stand on the sales floor, walk stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Tell authentic brand stories and guide customers to personalized product selections.
• Deliver exceptional customer journeys with demonstrations and regimen building.
• Lead customers to fragrance area and showcase recommended products on-hand.
• Ensure memorable departures and invite return visits with samples and regimens.
• Maintain grooming standards and uphold retail standards across the store.
• Support stock, inventory and store presentation tasks.
