Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Logistics Coordinator in Memphis, TN. You will follow a load plan, assign carriers, and manage time across emails, planning, and reporting. The role requires tracking loads end-to-end and supporting multiple DCs and hubs.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 6–12 months in logistics, and strong MS Excel/Outlook skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility for extended hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in logistics or supply chain.
• At least 1 year of proficient experience in MS Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Ability to work well with others and support team goals.
• Maintain flexibility and accept other duties as assigned while conducting business professionally.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follow a load plan and assign carriers per routing guide.
• Manage time across emails, load planning, metrics updates, and carrier/DC/hub communication.
• Track loads from pickup to delivery.
• Maintain trailer pools for carriers and DCs.
• Troubleshoot in transit issues for all loads from DC.
• Respond to emails promptly and organize solutions by urgency.
• Participate in conference calls with WSI partners, carriers, warehouses, stores.
• Run and update reports in various applications.
• Extract data to create reports for internal/external partners.
• Operate and switch between multiple DCs and interfaces.

The SeasonalLogistics Coordinatorposition is located in Memphis, TN. You'llbe excited about this opportunity because you will....

• Ability to follow a load plan and assign carriers per a routing guide
• Time management across emails, load planning, metrics updating and communication with carriers, DCs and hubs
• Track loads from pickup to delivery
• Maintain trailer pools for carriers and DCs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose in transit issues for all loads from DC
• Answer emails in a timely manner and be able to organize solutions based on urgency of emails
• Active participation in conference calls with WSI corporate partners, freight carriers, warehouses, final mile hubs & stores
• Ability to run and update reports as needed within various applications
• Extract data to create reports and distribute to both internal and external business partners
• Ability to operate and change between multiple DCs as need and work from multiple interfaces
