The Salvation Army Northern Division Lakewood Corps is seeking a Kettle Driver for the Red Kettle Campaign. This seasonal role safely transports kettles and bell ringers, maintains kettles and signage, and ensures secure operations during fundraising season. Requires valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and background checks.

Work hours include days and evenings, Monday through Saturday. Compensation is $15.97 per hour, up to 40 hours/week, temporary through December 2026.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass background checks and have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Kettle Distribution and Security (60%) – Safely transport, deliver, and collect kettles, secure them with padlocks, and track kettle/tag numbers.
• Bell Ringer Transportation and Support (30%) – Provide transport for paid bell ringers to sites and ensure gear is ready.
• Kettle and Sign Maintenance (5%) – Replace kettles and update signage as needed for consistent operations.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Cleanliness (5%) – Report issues and keep the vehicle clean and orderly.
