Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Extensive sport-specific knowledge preferred.
• Head coaching or multiple years of assistant coaching preferred.
• Experience communicating with families, student-athletes, and the media preferred.
• Experience with program leadership and organizational skills including fundraising and managing ASB budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundamental skills and understanding of the sport and its rules.
• Model cooperation, sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
• Oversee equipment inventory and maintain records.
• Ensure student-athlete eligibility and monitor behavior.
• Foster inclusivity and belonging within the program.
• Stay current with coaching standards and techniques.
