Job summary

CHS Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Laborer in Steward, IL. No experience required; assist in daily fall operations and support loading, unloading and inventory tasks. Typical shift is 7am–7pm with weekend hours and potential for full-time conversion at season end.

You will learn commodities handled, work with customers respectfully, and help maintain a safe, clean facility while following all policies and procedures. Competitive pay with overtime opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Pre-employment screenings may be required based on job requirements and guidelines.
• Knowledge of operations or business operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor tasks promptly and efficiently as directed.
• Develop knowledge of commodities handled and comply with policies and regulations.
• Work with customers in a courteous, professional manner.
• Prepare trucks for loading/unloading and attach hoses as needed.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using available equipment.
• Monitor load out functions and inventory quality.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal.
• Report customer issues or safety concerns to supervision.
• Follow safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
