Job summary

Sequoyah State Park in Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Seasonal Groundskeeper to help maintain outdoor spaces, lawns, gardens and recreation areas. Under the supervision of Property and Maintenance Managers, you will perform routine landscaping tasks and ensure safe, inviting grounds.

Key duties include mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, debris removal, and inspecting equipment. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to perform tasks that involve regular bending, stooping, squatting, walking and lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat, humidity, sun, and wind.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Demonstrate an attention to detail.
• Possess the ability to problem-solve.
• Possess the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass, weeds, trees and brush.
