The Pennsylvania State University’s Campus Recreation department is seeking a Grounds/Maintenance Worker for Stone Valley Recreation Area. The role focuses on keeping grounds clean, mowing, operating maintenance equipment, and performing general upkeep to support outdoor facilities.

Seasonal position, primarily April through October, with varied hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Penn State University Park students are encouraged to apply; background checks and MVR

Responsibilities

• Provide general grounds keeping and cleaning services
• Mow and trim lawn areas
• Operate trucks, tractors, powered ground equipment, and pneumatic tools
• Remove brush, leaves, grass clippings, paper, and debris from grounds
• Perform minor repairs
• Assist moving furniture, equipment, and materials
• Mop, sweep, and clean floors
• Operate powered janitorial equipment
