Job summary

Heritage Cooperative in Upper Sandusky, OH is seeking a Seasonal Grain Associate. You will support grain operations, load and unload, operate forklift, and ensure accurate fulfillment of orders while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates are willing to work extended hours and weekends, have basic mechanical skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior agriculture or processing experience is a plus; valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Fundamental mechanical skills.
• Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to crawl, stoop, kneel, climb, or balance as needed.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
• Valid driver license (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Heritage Cooperative’s Core Values.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to maximize efficiency and asset longevity.
• Complete required records and reports.
• Maintain energetic and polite attitude in all encounters.
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Keep equipment and facilities neat, clean, safe and environmentally sound.
• Operate machinery such as a forklift to load out product safely.
• Run receiving systems and equipment to receive product.
• Follow all safety regulations to ensure personal and coworker safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
