Lundberg Family Farms is hiring 4-5 Seasonal Grain Elevator Operators in California. You will be trained to run equipment in the Drying & Storage department, handling rice receipt, drying, and storage, plus bin cleaning. Peak season may require longer hours, including weekends, with outdoor work in varied temperatures.

Brief Description As harvest approaches Lundberg Family Farms will be hiring on 4-5 Seasonal Grain Elevator Operators.

As a Grain Elevator Operator1, you will be trained on running equipment used in the Drying & Storage department. This position will perform several functions of the department including receiving rice, drying and storage of rice, and cleaning storage bins.

At the peak of harvest you may be working 6+ days a week and 10+ hours per shift.

Work environment is primarily outdoors, with temperatures varying from mild to extreme hot and cold, and background noise ranging from high to low. Position also involves exposure to odors, dust, and mosquitoes.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays during peak season
• Must be comfortable with both confined spaces and heights
• Must have a valid California drivers license
• Prior dryer experience a plus
