Job summary

Knife River - ND is seeking a seasonal supervisor to safely oversee grading crews and manage gravel/base operations in North Dakota. You will perform daily inspections, coordinate activities, direct road projects, ensure quality work, and maintain productive, on-schedule results.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience, valid licensure and driving record, and a strong safety mindset. You will collaborate with Human Resources on staffing, training, and compliance, with benefits

Qualifications

• Over 2 years up to 4 years since post high school (education/experience).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in product line and supervisory role.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment walk-arounds and site inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions.
• Safely manage and coordinate activities of projects and crews.
• Direct construction and maintenance of roads or streets and related projects.
• Complete quality gravel/base work within specifications.
• Submit and track work hours, daily reports and pertinent job information.
• Monitor production and adjust plans according to daily evaluations.
• Communicate effectively under high-stress situations with team and clients.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, lockout/tagout and environmental regs.
