Job summary

The City of Farmington is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance Worker to assist with the upkeep of golf courses and related facilities. Responsibilities include operating lawn maintenance equipment and performing turf maintenance duties.

This seasonal position requires a valid New Mexico driver’s license and the ability to lift heavy objects. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of lawn care and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid New Mexico driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in installation and repair of sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of lawn care or maintenance chemicals.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of golf courses under supervision.
• Operate equipment for turf maintenance.
• Lift and unload heavy equipment.
• Maintain order in clubhouse and maintenance areas.
