Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a Seasonal Golf Course Grounds Laborer to maintain the pristine playing surfaces. You will perform mowing, edging, trimming, bunkers, and general course cleanup, supporting the Grounds Maintenance department.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varied weather, and bring a strong work ethic and attention to detail. High School or college students are welcome to apply; wage ranges from $16 to $18 per hour

Job Summary

The Golf Course Grounds Laborer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course grounds, ensuring they are kept in excellent condition for both member play and special events. This position involves a variety of outdoor tasks, including trimming, landscaping, and other general maintenance duties to enhance the appearance and playability of the course.

Key Responsibilities

• Mowing Greens
• Push Mowing Areas
• Trim and edge course features including trees, bushes, and flower beds.
• Maintain bunkers by raking sand and ensuring they are free of debris.
• Perform general cleanup of the golf course, including trash pickup, debris removal, and ensuring the course is always presentable.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and performing tasks.
