Job summary

Target is hiring Seasonal Warehouse Worker at our Lacey, WA distribution center. You will pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests, following safety policies and working in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $24.25 to $27.97 per hour with additional shift differential benefits. You will handle freight, maintain accurate merchandise processing, and contribute to continuing improvement with teamwork and reliability.

Job description

Current shift openings at this location: Seasonal Warehouse Worker Sunday, Monday, Saturday 6:00AM-6:30PM

Warehouse Worker roles starting at $24.25 per hour. The pay range is $24.25 to $27.97 per hour.

You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

What does a role as a Warehouse Worker look like?

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Attend safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
• Ensure accurate processing of merchandise to our stores and guests.
• Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Report to work on time and complete job tasks as assigned accurately and on time.
• Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
• Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

Job Requirements

• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
• Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
• Able to push utility carts up to 60 lbs., use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Work at a height of up to 40 ft. on a mezzanine (where applicable).
• Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
• Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40 ft. where applicable.
• Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

Food Distribution Center Only

• Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer.
