Irving Oil Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver to join the Dispatch team and deliver products to residential and commercial customers in a safety-first environment.

Responsibilities include loading the fuel truck, adhering to DOT regulations, and following daily routes. A valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and at least 2 years of commercial transport experience are required.

Qualifications

• A valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experience; liquid loads experience a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products via truck following all DOT regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to serve residential and commercial customers.
• Follow daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, and streets.
• Load truck with product safely at loading site/bulk plant.
• Complete daily shift reports and pre-/post-trip inspections.

Job description

As a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Irving Energy customers in a safety focused environment. Your success will depend on your ability to adhere to daily routes, load the fuel truck, and complete pre-and post-trip inspections while maintaining all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures. Please note: Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the US. Pre-employment checks are part of our recruitment process (criminal background, drug test, road test).

The expected hourly range for this position is $28.50-$31.50. Placement within range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.

Your Responsibilities:

• Driving a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures
• Working with our Dispatch Team in delivering products to residential and commercial customers
• Following a daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, streets, etc.
• Loading truck with required product while adhering to all safety policies and procedures at loading site/bulk plant
• Completion of daily shift report, pre and post trip inspections and any required paperwork

Your Skills:

Your Experience:

• A valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 2 years Commercial Transportation experience required and experience with liquid loads is an asset
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
