Job summary

Newell Brands Yankee Candle Retail is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our Hershey, PA store. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional guest experience, strong product knowledge, and building lasting customer relationships that drive sales.

You will support inventory, maintain store appearance, and uphold safety standards while working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred, and you will report to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High School completion or equivalent GED.
• Proven experience in a retail environment (1+ years preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store environment and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Understand guest needs through product knowledge and build emotional connections.
• Maximize sales by applying company selling strategies and building customer relationships.
• Drive guest loyalty through Rewards Loyalty program and KPIs.
• Assist in maintaining store appearance per visual standards and plan-o-grams.
• Support inventory management activities and control expenses.
• Follow safety and loss prevention measures and Code of Ethics.
• Aim to meet or exceed KPI goals through planning and execution.
