Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Operator in Richmond, VA to safely operate basic powered material handling equipment for receipt, storage and order fulfillment within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include order picking, pallet retrieval, quality checks, and pallet handling. The role requires a high school diploma and ability to operate equipment with proper PPE and safety protocols. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating basic powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to meet PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Able to work on equipment at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Job Description

The Seasonal Forklift Operator is primarily responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment (excluding the Order Picker, Turret, and Drexel) for product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment. This position is accountable for product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
