Job summary

Chewy’s Fulfillment Center in Goodyear, AZ is hiring seasonal Forklift Operators to join a fast-paced, safety-first team. Earn competitive hourly wages with opportunities for progression and perks like a 20% Chewy.com discount and access to Payactiv’s Earned Wage Access program.

You will handle labeling, replenishing, loading/unloading and order coordination, using PIT equipment in a supportive environment. Training is provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Follow and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Willing to be trained on PIT equipment (Reach Truck, Order Picker, Dock Stocker, Turret Truck, Double Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, Movexx/Amigo).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand safety procedures and complete documentation.
• This is a 90-day temporary assignment with shift flexibility including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Labeling, replenishing, box making, loading/unloading trailers.
• Fulfill and coordinate customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Create shipping documentation for domestic orders.
• Safely operate PIT and material handling equipment to move products.

What You’ll Do

• Labeling, replenishing, box making, loading/unloading trailers
• Fulfilling and coordinating customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Creating shipping documentation for domestic orders
• Safely and efficiently operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment to receive or transport product to storage and staging locations.

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Understand and adhere to our safety guidelines and procedures.
• Willing to be trained on PIT equipment e.g.,. Reach Truck, Order Pick, Dock Stocker, Turret Truck, Double Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, Movexx/Amigo.
• This role requires the ability to read, write, and speak English in order to understand and follow safety procedures, interpret work instructions, complete required documentation, and communicate effectively with team members
• This position is a 90-day temporary assignment designed to support fluctuating operational demands. Current shift openings may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Walk up to 2 miles per shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently lift up to 70 pounds using an optional team lift.
• Rarely lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift.
• Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel.
• Climb up and down stairs (where applicable).

When business needs require Team Members to work Mandatory Extra Time (MET), leadership will provide as much advance notice as possible.
