Turner’s Outdoorsman is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate for a regular part-time position in El Cajon, CA. The role supports store management, helps achieve sales goals, and upholds the Turner’s brand through customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate has prior retail or sales experience, cash handling skills, and is knowledgeable about hunting, fishing, or shooting sports. Legal eligibility to work with firearms is required, and must be 21+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college experience preferred.
• Prior retail or sales experience and cash handling preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing, or Shooting sports is preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers and assist with purchases.
• Process firearms paperwork within legal parameters.
• Create customer orders and assist in store merchandising.
• Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate salesmanship.
• Maintain firearm safety awareness and compliance.
• Help with loading/unloading trucks and receiving stock.
• Participate in promotions, sales and events; attend training seminars as needed.
• Attend to duties as assigned.
