Job summary

PE Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team for the construction season. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation, municipal, and infrastructure projects.

As a Seasonal Inspector, you will work full-time during the active construction season, typically from May to October with flexible start/end dates.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in math and science.
• Proficiency in construction safety principles.
• Familiarity with surveying and mapping techniques.
• Clear listening, speaking and writing communication.
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site sampling and testing of materials (soil, aggregate, concrete).
• Complete detailed inspection records and project documentation.
• Measure and verify field tasks for reports and payments.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Input test data into project database and generate client reports.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment regularly.
• Communicate with lead inspector, contractors, and stakeholders.
