Job summary

TwoSeven Inc. in New York seeks a Seasonal / Over-Hire Fabricator to support fast-paced, creative projects under Lead Fabricators and Production leadership.

The role emphasizes reliability, learning, and adaptability to shifting priorities while delivering high-quality parts. You will fabricate, assemble, and prepare shipments, follow shop drawings, assist with material prep and cut lists, and help with on-site installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; arts background preferred.
• 2+ years fabrication experience in fast-paced workshops.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from shop and architectural drawings.
• Strong tool skills with emphasis on safety and accuracy.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and support shipping preparation as required by project needs.
• Follow shop drawings, instructions, and production guidance with accuracy, quality, and safety.
• Assist with material preparation and cut lists; flag shortages or issues before fabrication begins.
• Build and assemble projects with installation, shipping, and site considerations.
• Communicate work progress, questions, or issues clearly to supervisors or project leadership.
• Prepare tools, hardware, materials, and work areas for shop and on-site tasks.
• Contribute to on-site installations and strikes under supervision by Lead Fabricators or Production Director.
• Assist with shop logistics, including unloading, staging, and crating as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace and adapt to changing project needs.
