LAZ Parking is seeking a Seasonal Event Valet Attendant to help deliver exceptional guest experiences at concerts, sports, festivals, and other events in the Minneapolis area. You will warmly welcome guests, safely park and retrieve vehicles, and contribute to a smooth arrival and departure experience in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes high-energy service, teamwork, and reliability. Training is provided, and compensation features tips plus flexible, event-based scheduling

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required and your driving record will be reviewed.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience is required for handling guest vehicles.
• Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills are essential for guest interactions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Evenings, weekends and holidays are required.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage a friendly, professional first impression.

Schedule & Availability

This is a seasonal position supporting special events throughout the year.

As a Seasonal Event Valet Attendant, you are the face of LAZ Parking. Your professionalism, energy, and commitment to customer service help create a welcoming and memorable experience for guests attending some of the area's most exciting events.

You will safely park and retrieve vehicles, assist guests as needed, maintain organized vehicle flow, and contribute to an efficient and guest-focused operation.

What You'll Do

Guest Service & Event Hospitality

• Welcome guests as they arrive and depart.
• Provide a friendly and professional first impression.
• Open vehicle doors and assist guests when needed.
• Answer basic questions and provide directions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Maintain a positive attitude during busy event periods.

Valet Operations

• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles.
• Issue and manage valet tickets.
• Handle vehicle keys according to company procedures.
• Maintain organized traffic flow and staging areas.
• Quickly and accurately locate vehicles during guest departures.
• Follow all company safety and operating procedures.

Teamwork & Event Support

• Work closely with teammates to manage peak arrival and departure times.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and event staff.
• Maintain professionalism throughout the event.
• Represent LAZ Parking with integrity and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred

• Previous valet, parking, hospitality, event, restaurant, or customer service experience.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring the ability to:

• Stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and move frequently throughout a shift.
• Enter and exit a variety of vehicles safely and efficiently.

Working Conditions
