Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Seasonal Emergency Department Registered Nurse for Bayshore Gardens ED. The role requires current ED experience and a Florida RN license, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke qualifications.

Seasonal rate is $70/hour plus shift differential. The candidate will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care, administer IV meds, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team in a high-volume ED setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current PALS through American Heart Association.
• Current TNCC Certification.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• CPI required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and nursing philosophy.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs and treatment plans.
• Administer IVs and medications and monitor patient health with equipment.
• Support and lead the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care.
