Job summary

Skyway Concession Company in Chicago is seeking an Equipment Operator/Laborer with CDL (air brake) for winter seasonal, full-time, safety-sensitive work in the Operations Department.

You will operate maintenance equipment, perform manual labor, and support safe roadway operations during winter weather conditions. The role requires outdoor work, exposure to traffic and the elements, and a 24-hour call shift as part of SCC's operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air-brake endorsement.
• Knowledge of highway maintenance practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patches, seals, and maintains roads and shoulders.
• Operates maintenance equipment listed in the job scope.
• Performs winter maintenance including snow and ice removal.
• Cleans storm drains, sewers, bridges, and roadside areas.
• Ensures equipment safety and routine maintenance.
