Job summary

UPS is seeking a physically active seasonal Driver Helper to assist a driver with package delivery. You’ll work outdoors, interact with customers, and help ensure on-time delivery.

You may be assigned different shifts in the morning based on need, and you won’t drive the brown truck yourself. Responsibilities include lifting up to 70 lbs, wearing appropriate footwear, and staying flexible with schedules including Saturdays and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Team up with a UPS driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses.
• Assist with loading and unloading, and ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.
• Meet at a designated pick-up location and work outdoors, interacting with customers.
