Job summary

UPS is hiring a Seasonal Driver Helper to assist a delivery driver with parcel handoffs and outdoor duties in your community. This physically active role involves lifting, loading, and interacting with customers as you help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

You’ll meet the driver at a designated pickup location near your home. Shifts vary and may include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist a UPS driver in delivering packages to homes and businesses.
• Help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.
• Interact with customers during deliveries.
• Meet at designated pickup location with driver.
• Shifts communicated via calls/text to your phone.
