Job summary

Bright Event Rentals is seeking a Driver Installer to safely transport, install, and remove event rental equipment. You will work with Dispatch, Operations, warehouse teams, and clients to ensure on-time delivery and a positive customer experience.

You will load and secure items, install tents and furniture, communicate professionally, and help maintain inventory and safety standards on job-sites. A flexible schedule and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate company delivery vehicles.
• Ability to follow DOT requirements and safety policies at all times.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Able to prioritize work in a fast-paced warehouse/job-site environment.
• Regularly lift and move 50–100 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT requirements and policies.
• Load, secure, transport, unload, and return event rental equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Install and remove tents, furniture, staging, draping, lighting, and related rental items.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team throughout deliveries, installations, and pickups.
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for daily warehouse and job-site activities.
• Verify equipment and quantities during deliveries and pickups to support inventory accuracy.
• Organize, palletize, clean, and store rental equipment in the warehouse.
• Follow PPE, safe lifting, and job-site practices at all times.
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Operations, and warehouse teams to complete work safely and on time.
• Troubleshoot routine job-site challenges and escalate concerns as needed.

About the Job

The Driver Installer safely transports, installs, and removes event rental equipment to help ensure every event is delivered on time and completed to Bright's quality and safety standards. Working closely with Dispatch, Operations, warehouse teams, and clients, this role provides dependable service while protecting company equipment, maintaining order accuracy, and creating a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate company vehicles while following DOT requirements, traffic laws, and company driving policies.
• Load, secure, transport, unload, and return event rental equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Install and remove event products, including tents, furniture, staging, dance floors, kitchen equipment, lighting, draping, and related rental items.
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members throughout deliveries, installations, and pickups.
• Prepare vehicles, equipment, and orders for daily warehouse and job-site activities.
• Verify equipment and quantities during deliveries and pickups to support accurate inventory records.
• Organize, palletize, clean, and properly store rental equipment when working in the warehouse.
• Follow required PPE, safe lifting, installation, and job-site practices at all times.
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Operations, and warehouse teams to complete scheduled work safely and on time.
• Troubleshoot routine job-site challenges and promptly communicate concerns that may affect safety, service, or scheduling.

What You Bring

Required

• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles and follow applicable DOT requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and solve routine problems in a fast-paced warehouse and job-site environment.
• Ability to regularly lift and move 50-100 pounds and frequently stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, temperature, and noise conditions.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in event rentals, delivery, moving, logistics, construction, or a related environment.
• Experience installing tents or other event rental equipment.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
