Job summary

Hot Topic Distribution Center in California is seeking a Seasonal Distribution Center Associate to efficiently fulfill Ecommerce orders during peak periods. You will pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensure accuracy, and move shipments smoothly through the workspace.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd shifts on various days; this temporary role lasts about 3 months. You must have reliable transportation and be able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs; prior DC or internet fulfillment

Qualifications

• Previous DC and/or Internet Fulfillment experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and inducted in a timely manner.
• Handle shipments efficiently to ensure smooth work flow from one work station to the next.
• Stock new merchandise as received.
• Communicate with management on any production issues that arise.
• Stick to all company policies and procedures including safety, cleanliness and code of ethics.
• Monitor production supplies and partner with Supervisor or Team Lead to order additional supplies as needed.
• Follow all written departmental procedures and identify any changes that may be necessary, reporting these findings to your supervisor.

Ecommerce is where it’s at. Internet Fulfillment plays a HUGE part of that. As Seasonal Distribution Center Associate for the Internet Fulfillment Department, you’ll ensure the efficient and accurate fulfillment of Ecommerce orders as they are placed; you’re creating the magic that gets our product in the hands of our customer.

This position is a temporary rolelasting approximately 3 months,

We have the following shifts available:

• 1st Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 4am-12:30pm.
• 1st Shift, Tuesday-Saturday, 4am-12:30pm.
• 2nd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 1pm-9:30pm.
• 2nd Shift. Tuesday-Saturday, 1pm-9:30pm.

During non-peak, the working days will be Monday-Friday for all shifts.

The specific shift(s) we're hiring for can vary based on our current operational needs. Please note that during peak season, schedules may be adjusted, and overtime could be required. We'll clarify this if you're invited to interview.

Pay range:

• $19.00 - $19.50 an hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Pack and prepare orders for shipment. We move quickly, so you’ll be able to keep up with our pace, while using the appropriate supplies and packing materials.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and inducted in a timely manner.
