Job summary

Skagway Brewing Company in Skagway, AK is seeking a Seasonal Full-Time Dishwasher from mid-April through mid-October. You will clean and sanitize dining wares, assist with prep and bussing as needed, and help maintain a clean, organized dish pit.

Hourly wage plus tips, with the potential for early arrival or late stay based on cruise ship season. Benefits include training opportunities, seasonal housing subsidy, and access to employee discounts in our restaurant, store, pub, and beer garden.

Qualifications

• Must be available either 8am-4pm OR 11am-7pm.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who works well in a team and follows directions.
• Thorough attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive work.
• Stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs.
• State of Alaska Food Handler’s Card or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Efficient cleaning and proper sanitation of all wares and equipment.
• Stack, sort, wash, and store wares using machine or by hand.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and maintain dish pit cleanliness.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager on duty immediately.
• Follow safety guidelines and communicate clearly with staff.
