Job summary

Black Point Inn seeks dishwashers for a fast-paced kitchen to support the 2026 season in Scarborough, ME. Positions run through October 2026 with both full-time and part-time shifts, typically from 7am–3pm or 3pm–10pm, with hourly pay ranging from $16 to $19 depending on experience.

Starting in August, the role requires no prior experience, with benefits including discounted stays and food & beverage at affiliated properties.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate orally in English with guests and employees.
• Ability to read labels on chemicals and safety signage.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Sort, scrape and rinse dirty dishes, glassware and tableware.
• Operate dishwashing machine and manual dishwashing station.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and related spaces.
• Maintain sanitation standards per Maine health department and OSHA requirements.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks.
