Job summary

The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Delivery Driver to support Pop-Up Retail locations in the local area. You will drive a refrigerated truck, load and secure products, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and food handling standards.

As a contributor to a high-performance team, you’ll work with flexible hours during the holiday season. A valid license and ability to pass DOT checks are required; CDL is not needed.

Qualifications

• Operate 14–26 ft refrigerated truck for local deliveries.
• Valid driver’s license and current DOT medical card.
• Pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, MVR check and DOT background.
• Know current DOT requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at HUB store to get product for Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Complete Truck Assessment checklist at the beginning of each delivery day prior to leaving hub store.
• Ensure that products are secured in the truck using straps or loading bars.
• Safely transport products to Pop-Up Retail locations.
• Place product on the reassembled flatbed cart to be taken into the location.
• Take expired product and place in empty boxes and return to home store.
• Complete the delivery manifest checklist, ensuring that all product is accounted for and delivered accurately, as well as returned to store when needed.
• Complete temp logs to ensure product food safety standards are met.
