Job summary

VL Transport 1 Corp, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, is hiring seasonal Delivery Drivers in Newark, NJ. Immediate start; 30–50 hours per week; two peak-season shifts at 11:00 and 7:00. Pay: $24.75–$25.75 per hour.

In-person interviews required; punctuality and reliability are essential for on-time deliveries. Benefits after 30 days include health insurance, PTO, paid training, and uniforms. Must have a clean driving record and no tickets in 7 years; experience with large delivery vehicles

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older with a valid standard driver’s license.
• No tickets in the last 7 years; driving history must be clean.
• Ability to operate and navigate delivery vehicles (e.g., Sprinter/Promaster).
• Ability to lift/move boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime and weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages to homes, retail, and business locations.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards on and off the road.
• Interact professionally with customers and public.
• Use handheld device to manage delivery progress.
• Sort and prepare delivery routes to meet customer promises.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
• May assist in training other team members.
