Job summary

Michaels is hiring at our Manassas, VA location for a team member who can deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, process fast checkouts, and support store operations. You will help customers find products, participate in the rewards program enrollments, and assist with omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role requires standing, stocking, and following store procedures.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to engage customers and provide solutions
• Strong communication and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and answer questions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience and process transactions
• Promote rewards programs and card enrollments
• Assist with stock, shelves, and planograms
• Support BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Maintain store appearance and recovery, lift heavy boxes as needed
• Follow SOPs and safety rules; model respectful conduct
