Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a Seasonal CT/XR Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and OR settings. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.

You will operate CT and X-ray equipment, review exams, and communicate results to the care team, while maintaining inventory and a neat exam room. ARRT CT credentials and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• ARRT CT credentials are required for this CT/XR technologist role.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and Radiographic examinations per Vail Health protocols.
• Operate C-arm, O-arm, and other imaging equipment under supervision.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and relay results to radiologists.
• Monitor inventory and keep the exam room stocked and orderly.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to department policies, safety standards, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Utilize HIS and PACS systems for patient documentation.
• Participate in departmental and team meetings.
