Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a Seasonal Courier for a commitment of up to 12 weeks to deliver and pick up packages at customer locations. You will maintain courteous service and ensure shipments meet FedEx standards while assisting customers at each stop.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum age of 21, ability to read and speak English, and the capacity to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavy packages with help. A valid license for the assigned vehicle is required.

• Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Special Notes:

A Seasonal Courier position is up to 12 weeks. Upon assignment completion, the employee may be offered a permanent position.
