Job summary

AdventureRecruit UAE is hiring a friendly Concierge for a seasonal position in Akron, Ohio. You will greet guests, assist with check-in, provide local recommendations, make restaurant reservations, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Concierge or in a similar customer service role.
• Fluent English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of local area attractions and ability to make recommendations to guests.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in.
• Provide information about local area, restaurants, attractions, and events.
• Make reservations for guests at restaurants or venues.
• Arrange transportation for guests as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front desk area.
• Assist with luggage handling and storage.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
• Handle any special requests from guests, such as room upgrades or special amenities.
• Manage incoming calls and messages for guests.
