Job summary

The Salvation Army in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dependable driver to support Christmas Angel Tree and Kettle programs. You will operate non-DOT vans to transport bells ringers and donations to designated sites, ensuring safety and accountability of vehicles and cargo.

You will load, unload, and schedule pickups, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and work outdoors in varying weather. A valid Texas driver’s license and at least two years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years driving experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Able to lift and carry moderate to heavy items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drives vans to transport bells ringers to kettle work sites and pickups at destinations according to schedule.
• Drives vans to transport gifts to Christmas warehouse and coordinate pickups via direct routes.
• Drives to homes, churches and other locations to collect gifts and stockings for delivery.
• Operates non-DOT vans/trucks to events at malls or drive-thru locations.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior.
• Complies with mission, ministry and safety standards of The Salvation Army.
