Job summary

Chukar Cherries is seeking a dependable, energetic team member to join our chocolate room for the holiday season. In this hands-on role, you will help handcraft our signature chocolate confections with care, consistency, and quality.

Schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with hours that may vary by production needs. This is a seasonal hourly position with potential overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read English product labels and work orders.
• Able to repeatedly lift 30-50 lbs.
• Experience with tablets and barcode scanners.

Responsibilities

• Operate chocolate panning equipment.
• Handcraft chocolate confections start to finish.
• Read & follow recipe instructions.
• Accurately weigh out and issue ingredients into tracking system.
• Complete production records accurately; lots, weights, etc.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete required food and employee safety training.
• Perform other production duties as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate chocolate panning equipment.
• Handcraft chocolate confections start to finish.
• Read & follow recipe instructions.
• Accurately weigh out and issue ingredients into tracking system.
• Complete production records accurately; lots, weights, etc.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete required food and employee safety training.
• Perform other production duties as needed.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to understand English product labels and work orders.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull 30-50 lbs.
• Ability to perform basic addition, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to use a tablet and handheld barcode scanner.
• Previous food production experience is a plus.

Schedule

Day shift: General hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. *Hours may vary based on production needs.
