Job summary

DCC Propane, LLC delivers, services and installs propane, equipment, and related materials to customers in an assigned territory, while handling water system maintenance where offered. Customer service and proper paperwork, plus DOT compliance, are essential parts of the role.

Standard schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime during busy seasons. CDA responsibilities include safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL driver's license with appropriate endorsements and knowledge of DOT rules.
• General mechanical abilities and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read maps and have good knowledge of the geographical area.

Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned vehicles per company policies and comply with federal, state and local DOT regulations.
• Handle delivery schedule with multiple stops per day.
• Resolve or elevate customer inquiries and/or complaints as needed.
• Care for and secure company and customer equipment and property at all times.
• Submit accurate paperwork to supervisor daily.
• Cross-train in service area to respond to propane and/or water needs when offered.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality of information.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings as required.
• Regular attendance at the worksite.
